Side pane toggle in pcmanfm-qt not possible?

 Hitesh shah: one new feature of pcmanfm 1.2.0 is that it has a twin pane view you can activate this mode by hitting f3 so you do not need two different file managers open. This might be a better way to do this. I don't think it was removed on purpose but just the developers don't have unlimited time to get everything done. 
Also the key for hiding side panel is f9. 

This is one nice thing about 14.04 being long term support is if there is something not quite in the qt version yet the gtk+ will still have support.
