Side pane toggle in pcmanfm-qt not possible?

Regular PCManFM 1.2 allows users to toggle the visibility of the side-pane
(where Places and Bookmarks are visible) under View > Side Pane > Show Side
Pane but the qt version does not have this option.

Will it be available later? It is useful on laptops if I want two file
manager windows side by side.
