PPC Lubuntu testing

Hello, I'm interested in trying/testing lubuntu on PPC mac hardware.  Is this the correct place to be asking?  I was directed to:

And have followed some of the instructions/links from there.  I've downloaded the 13.04 iso and have tried it on a g4 powerbook and a g4 mini.  I'm not getting very far.  I put in a bug describing my results here:

and have looked at the known issues/FAQ pages for PPC as well as here:

I'd be happy to try some other things to help the testing effort.  I was reading one web site that said 12.04 works better on PPC.  Should I download that iso instead of the newer versions?
