No difference at all as far as I can tell. ALL are giving me the same:
overheating, less battery life, etc. That applies for Lubuntu and Ubuntu.
I am posting this from Lubuntu 12.04 amd64 and the temp now is 65c with
Chromium and Firefox opened.

HP, as far as I have heard, is not as good as it used to be.
I have an HP from 1999 - P2 with 64MB RAM and 4GB HDD and it works with
Lubutnu 11.10 but yes, very slow.
Nowadays HP seem bad or it could be the model I'm using is bad? I don't
know :(
Maybe the cooperation between the

I don't know about Windows 7 which I have no such problems with.
With Lubuntu 12.04 amd64 where I'm writing this right now, CPU is always
LOW. Never on 100%. The heat has nothing to do with the CPU as far as I can
tell. I always check the CPU from time to time and I don't see any high CPU
usage on this machine. However, it is so hot.
Yes, I did clean it many times, same.
Thank you :)
