Workspace switcher, questions

I like Lubuntu in the main but I find the workspace switcher rather
annoying.

Firstly, is it actually as bad as it seems at displaying windows in the
wrong desktop?  I have four workspaces and as soon as I move any windows
around the workspaces the workspace display in the panel gets completely
lost and displays things in all the wrong places.

Secondly are there any plans to add extra ways of moving windows around
in workspaces in addition to the existing 'click in the panel' method
(which, as I reported earlier doesn't allow one to move a help window
away from its parent window)?
