Of course Launchpad is for getting help. Actually launchpad is one of 
the most greater Q&As database since it was opened. Check this site : 
https://answers.launchpad.net/
Because I participating in Launchpad Answers tracker, I can say that we 
have more than 20 new questions every day(average).
I agree to include other Ubuntu help desks as well, but I do not agree 
that Launchpad is not for getting help.
