Strange Icon sizes in menu [12.10]

Thanks for the repsonses. I don't think this is a bug, it's most likely
something wrong in a config file. And it most likely is caused by a
disconnect between some standard in 12.04 and 12.10.

I'm going to redo my install from scratch and see if that solves it.
