Hi,

what we found was that doing an install from boot of the Desktop CD did
take ~ 384MB. But (and it's a BIG but), if you fire up the LiveCD session
and choose to install from there it can creep up to the 800MB RAM used
mark, simply because you have already allocated a bunch of RAM to the
LiveCD system.

Trying to get that into one easily understandable (for n00bs) sentence took
a few re-writes!
