Hi, I don't fancy the idea of linking to the web pages behind each
application. We should help beginners away from the habit of downloading
stuff from more or less trustworthy web pages.

Also, though the three apps are good, their official web sites are not
relevant for the average end user. They are targeted advanced users and /
or developers.

Less is more. I prefer to keep a web site short and simple in order to
satisfy 90 % of the visitors, especially the beginners. The 10 % advanced
users left out must use other channels.
