Can't install

I had this issue, my Checksum looked ok, it seemed to be my laptops HDD. I used a Gparted disc to manually format/partition to a single ntfs partition , then reinstalled, and told lubuntu install to reformat and use the entire drive (removing the ntfs) -worked fine after that
