Can one add 'custom' programs to the Application Launch Bar?

Yes, I can add and remove applications but they're only the 'ready made'
applications in lubuntu.  I want to be able to run a script I have
written (for example) or I want to run an existing application (like
lxterminal) with some command line parameters.
