It seems that your Anroid put the reply on top :(.
You might want to install K9-mail from Google Play, it allows bottom posing and sending of plaintext. If you have apg installed, it can even sign and verify gpg signatures.

I apologize for possible "reply all" button usage on mailing list. This client doesn't have "reply list" button and it's hard to remove receivers.
