[lubuntu-devel] Problem in Lu 20.04 w/ "open file" "dialogue" window showing no contents

We all are who we are, and we do what we do . . . I did see a number of
other "verbose" posts on that thread . . . but, still I'm not "new" to
posting on linux forums, sometimes they are exceptional with the insights
and sometimes we get "jailed" . . . .

So, what does that mean, "put them in the sandbox"???  Obviously that means
that snap is "the sandbox" and if something isn't "in there" then it won't
"show in the sandbox" . . . but then how is it "added into the sandbox" . .
. and why does that have to require extra steps?  It's extraordinary to not
be able to access "files" from the GUI desktop as the user, rather than
being secure against external vectors where if I wanted to access your
desktop files and upload them to my website if snap was stopping that, that
makes sense . . . .  But, my own files in the system I'm booted and logged
into???  Non-sense . . . .

So, in the meanwhile I did "try FF" to reproduce the photo upload to IG and
it doesn't "work" the way that Chrome/Chromium does, when clicking User
Agent icon and refreshing screen a "+" sign will load and the cursor
changes to a circle, and then clicking "+" will open the "file dialog" and
we can select a photo file to upload . . . .  FF doesn't provide the "+"
and now Chromium doesn't either . . . .  : - (
