[lubuntu-devel] Another app w/ Problem in Lu 20.04 w/ "open file" "dialogue" window showing no contents

After I posted this, so I DLd the .deb file for Chrome/Chromium . . . was
able to "open with" Gdebi and install the app, when I tested "open" as
shown below it still "fails" . . . I then repeated the IG maneuver to try
to upload a photo and . . . again that fails.  I checked synaptic and
"snapd" is installed and possibly something called "plasma snap" . . . but
"snap" was not showing as "installed" . . . .
