[lubuntu-devel] Another app w/ Problem in Lu 20.04 w/ "open file" "dialogue" window showing no contents

Found another app that failed to show contents of Downloads directory . . .
i.e., Gdebi, using the "open" option . . . window opens same as before, no
contents of Downloads showing as previously . . . .  Is snap pervading
throughout the system and wrecking havoc on functionality?
