Hi,
I installed this:
Cosmic-Cuttlefish-18.10 - 2018-09-14
c05087a27033a6f8099fde2c41ee23ee cosmic-desktop-amd64.iso
On a Dell Inspiron 530S desktop 64-bit computer with Intel E6650 CPU, 2GiB
RAM.
O.S. installed OK.
Could not find a hardware info tool so had to install hardinfo.
"System Tools -> Discover" looks interesting but is very slow, eventually
stopped responding and had to be forcibly closed,
"System Tools -> fcitx" Would not run at all. Decided to run it from a
Terminal to get more info. Last message is "ERROR -2396 instance.c : 443"
and its exit codee was 0.
Given the crash reports made about PCManFM on the current Lubuntus, it
would be really helpful if we could have a more robust file manager
installed by default.
HTH,
Ian
