[lubuntu-devel] upstream translation changes in LXQt

I just got a [notice][1] from agaida on the LXQt team that translations are
being moved out of existent packages and into separate packages. If you're
using LXQt packages— from the packages in the repositories or from the
daily PPA— you're soon to lose your translations. Don't be alarmed. This is
normal. Future LXQt packages in Debian will recommend the translation
(-l10n) packages, so this should get synced up soon enough. The PPA will
need a little extra work, but I'm sure that will come in time.

The good news is that this is a step in the right direction to improve
upstream translations. Unfortunately, they have not yet created a service
to handle translation management (e.g. Pootle, Transifex), but this is
coming soon. If you're interested in helping with translations and/or the
infrastructure to manage those translations, I would highly recommend you
get in touch with the [upstream LXQt team][2]. Be patient with them,
though, as this is still a work in progress. These changes should be coming
out in an official LXQt release probably within the next few days or so.
