Greetings,
Recently, I got a little sick of typing in "sudo apt install lximage-qt
lxqt-about lxqt-admin lxqt-common lxqt-config lxqt-globalkeys
lxqt-notificationd lxqt-openssh-askpass lxqt-panel lxqt-policykit
lxqt-powermanagement lxqt-qtplugin lxqt-runner lxqt-session lxqt-sudo
pcmanfm-qt qterminal qupzilla" every time I wanted to install LXQt, plus
the other packages needed. Julien's PPA has extra LXQt packages that are
known to break(although not 100% of the time), and I wanted the
experience to make the metapackage that installs the needed packages. So
I created lxqt-metapackage in ppa:tsimonq2/lxqt-meta. I've tested it on
my Pi 3 and my i386 machine I am using now.
This is basically a package that does nothing but specifies depends, so
installing lxqt-metapackage installs other packages. Here is the control
file, this might show a lot of things:

> Description: LXQt Metapackage for testing by the Lubuntu team
> This is an LXQt Metapackage made for use by the Lubuntu team and anyone else who would like to test LXQt. This is maintained by Simon Quigley but please contact the Lubuntu Development and Quality Assurance team at lubuntu-devel AT lists DOT ubuntu DOT com for questions/comments/concerns/suggestions about this package.
I haven't tested the removal of light-locker and xfce4-power-manager yet
on an existing Lubuntu install, so if somebody could check for the
existence of those packages after installing lxqt-metapackage, that
would be awesome.
I'll test this on my amd64 machine tonight, but if somebody could test
this on a PPC machine as well, that would be awesome.
I'll be updating https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/LXQt shortly to reflect
this metapackage, as it works and it certainly makes things easier.
If you have a question/comment/concern/suggestion about this
metapackage, don't hesitate to contact me or ask in #lubuntu-devel.
Thanks,
Simon Quigley
