I update my iMac G7450 PPC almost everyday. Load synaptic, then reload,
then mark and apply updates; then run software update and then reboot.
Have been doing this for > a month and my Lu16.04 always works fine except
no sound ;-{
but if you need some PPC testing help on what is applied thru the normal
channel, then i can help on that. I am unwilling to try beta .iso's or
otherwise disable a happy machine, but other than that i can try.
Let me know where bug reports are filed so i can scan them.
thanx.
