Hi,

I am an IT volunteer for Contact (http://contactmorpeth.org.uk/) and
donated laptops are particularly appreciated. As a result, there is a small
core of people related to Contact currently using Lubuntu 32-bit (Pentium M
or better). I'm slowly moving people over to Lubuntu 16.04 LTS (32 bit).

Personally, the LTS releases are the most important releases for me and the
people I support.

Also, Lubuntu's interface is easier for Windows users to get to grips with.
To complement that, I've written a 14 page illustrated guide to Lubuntu,
available from https://sites.google.com/site/ianbruntlett/home/free-software
.

HTH,

Ian
