[lubuntu-devel] Critical Lubuntu Installation Bug

Greetings,

We currently have a critical bug affecting today's Lubuntu daily image
(Yakkety). This is the bug: https://pad.lv/1599174

Basically, the desktop installer spits out a dpkg segfault during the
install.

I'll be unavailable for most of today, so if I could get help with the
following, that would be great:
 1. Confirm that it is ONLY the Yakkety Yak daily image and NOT Trusty
or Xenial.
 2. Was this present in Alpha 1 and if so, how did we not catch it?
 3. If #2 is no, look at each package upgrade since Alpha 1 and find out
what caused it.

If you end up finding anything out, please respond to the bug report.
The Lubuntu Packages Team is subscribed to it, so you'll get eyes on it.

Don't worry if you don't get a chance to do anything, I'll just be gone
for the day and this is a major bug that would be good to have eyes on.
