[lubuntu-devel] Some stuff I learnt whilst installing lubuntu 15.10 64 bit desktop image

Things I did right:
* Wiped hard disc with dban. Had to use an older CD-R because my newer
CD-Rs couldn't handle it.
* Ran memtest86+

Things I did wrong:
* Didn't check the hardware requirements for the CD-R before installing.

The install would fail at "configuring timezone". Did that twice.

Got the install to work by not installing extra files during install. I
suspect that there might have been an "out of memory" problem.

System details
evesham Tower PC, AMD Athlon 64, 1.8GHz, 64 bit, 1 GiB RAM
