That's because of https://bugs.launchpad.net/uak/+bug/1169467 which I
recently started looking into. It looks to me like somebody needs to
spend 2-3 very focused hours on getting the script ready and making sure
that the install paths are all correct. Maybe we even need to create a
separate package to deal with duplicated content across the different
language packages.

So yes, the problem is known and a fix is entirely possible (it works
well for the Packaging Guide), but it's non-trivial.

Help is welcome. I'll publish a branch with the limited progress I made
on this issue.
