This is something that I attempt to provide. I like to offer three
columns. Center column standard content and two on the sides that are
collapsible. I will definitely include this functionality.
In addition I will provide RTL support and the ability to move
everything around as a CMS should allow.

Have you ever looked at http://spreadubuntu.neomenlo.org/? This is the
best I can provide. I don't have any inside knowledge aside from what I
can prod out of those that do have the inside knowledge.
