CD shipments to LoCo teams

Hi,

while thinking about what Canonical can do for LoCo teams I have one
idea.

I started CD distribution point in CZ (together with CZLUG) and there
was big interest in getting CDs (~100 request in one month). It looks
like it was not smart idea to start it with just 20 CDs, because I send
them in first 3 days.

I ordered 200 CDs at 2005-07-27, shipment date is 2005-08-08, but even
though CZ is in EU, CD are still not here.

If Canonical can do something to speed up things for Breezy it would be
appreciated. Czech team is not only who have CD distribution point
(I know that Brazil team is distributing CDs as well...)

For example I think I am able to make CDs here localy if I have:
- ISO
- Images
- Money :-)

I don't know exact numbers of people who orderer CDs from Czech and
Slovak Republic, but I think that minimum of 1000 CDs would not be
waste.

I am willing to take care of all shipments to Eastern Europe, which
would save money and speed whole process.

I think that creating individual CD distribution points in each country
would be too much, but maybe we can make it "regional". I can imagine
that transit times to Brazil are not good as well.
