Hi,
We respect your comments.
We would really appreciate if the international Ubuntu community would tip
in voluntarily to produce some training materials in various localized
languages so that we can use the same informational material world-wide. In
our presentation we kept the issue of linux generic and that one
presentation could fit any linux flavor to a greater extent. The
installation/distribution CD used was the Ubuntu-5.04 version.
Regards.

Hi,
I checked out the pdf and it's a good intro to linux for newcomers
but
I expected it more Ubuntu-ish. There was no mention about ubuntu
desktop, gnome or other ubuntu specific stuff like update manager,
packages, sudo (In fact there are slides about root logins !).
In general the pdf is good but I believe not mentioning "the easy way"
which ubuntu has brought to our desktops (e.g. I simple user will never
use mount) will confuse/disappoint the newcomers.
Keep up the work!
