edgy::touchpad

hi,

within dapper, touchpad config is not present in xorg.conf. and some  
people in this maillist help me to make it works by adding "Synaptics  
Touchpad" section.

now i had upgrade to edgy, and also manually add same section in  
xorg.conf. also with this line.
Option          "SHMConfig"             "on"

but now i can not control the touchpad with my old bash. normally i want  
use "synclient TouchpadOff=0".
for i can not found this application named "synclient" in repository.
if anyone can give some advice?
