sth about hibernation

hi,

i hear kernel 386 support apmd and acpi, but 686 does not support apmd. if  
anyone knows this. perhaps this is the reason of my laptop can not use  
hibernation?  i use a ASUS A8H20JC-DR laptop.

problem about webcam, it seems my camera is too newer for the spca5xx  
driver. if anyone has interest? thanks.

my lucky laptop only has this 2 problem. all others works well.
