You can install Windows first (or a new machine will surely come with Windows installed). It is then possible to shrink
the last of the Windows partitions down as far as you wish using GParted, running from a CD. On this computer, which I
bought new, I shrunk the last Windows partition, on which the system actually operates, down to 100 GiB. I don't use
Windows for much of anything, and there is still about 25% of that 100 GiB available. I don't know anything about using
a Windows partitioner. It is all confusing with drive letters and Microsoft crap. YMMV!
