Dear Everybody.

At present, I am running Kubuntu 18.04 LTS at my Samsung 860 EVO (1 TB) inside my
Lenovo X220, The system runs quite smoothly. Even Bluetooth seems to run up to a
certain extend. However, after scanning, just 1 device in the house next to mine appears -
however, NOT my "JBL Clip 3" Bluetooth speaker. After a bit of googling, I tried out the
following commands:

bas at Viaconsensus-iter:~$ bluetoothctl
[NEW] Controller 60:D8:19:B1:7B:8B Viaconsensus-iter [default]
[NEW] Device FC:8F:90:93:D2:2A [TV]Samsung LED40
Agent registered
[DEL] Device FC:8F:90:93:D2:2A [TV]Samsung LED40
[bluetooth]# list
Controller 60:D8:19:B1:7B:8B Viaconsensus-iter [default]
[bluetooth]# devices
[bluetooth]# scan on
Discovery started
[CHG] Controller 60:D8:19:B1:7B:8B Discovering: yes
[bluetooth]# power on
Changing power on succeeded
[bluetooth]# list
Controller 60:D8:19:B1:7B:8B Viaconsensus-iter [default]
[NEW] Device FC:8F:90:93:D2:2A [TV]Samsung LED40
[bluetooth]# discoverable on
Changing discoverable on succeeded
[bluetooth]#

At my phone, the laptop does not appear at the devices list, also not after the command
"discoverable on".

Can anybody help out?

Yours.

Bas G. Roufs.
