Hi Joshua,

I've never seen a "dashboard" as such in Kubuntu. Perhaps you are referring
to the panel? If so, I use the panel (icons-only) in Plasma5/Kubuntu 15.04
to store my most-used applications. Yes, I could just use the launcher
menu, and/or Krunner, but I like just clicking on Konversation, Chrome and
whatever text file I'm working on when I'm ready to start my work day.

Some like it displaying on top of their screen, or to one side or the
other, but I prefer the bottom of the screen. I also have some widgets
there I often use. But everyone should use the tools they enjoy, to do the
jobs they want to do.

So use one, or not, and put it where-ever you like, and put whatever you
like on it.

Have fun,

Valorie
