Updating to 15.04

Here's something else to try:

1) get yourself to the terminal screen.   (as before)

2) Enter:     sudo adduser test

after entering the new password twice, the rest can just be the ENTER key.

3)  sudo service sddm stop
      sudo service  sddm start

4) Try to login as user  'test'


There may be something in your /home directory that is causing this 
problem, so trying a new user would eliminate that possibility.

BTW,  I don't use 'sudo' on my system since I run as real root.... so I 
think in some previous instructions you would have to add the 'sudo'

Just be aware I might forget it.
