Kubuntu 14.04: no access any more to Skype from Telepathy?

Hello Everybody,
until and including Kubuntu 13.10, I managed to access Skype via Telepathy,
via the intermediary package 'pidgin-skype'.

Also here in Kubuntu 14.04, I have installed the 3 packages managed above.
When trying to access Skype from Telepathy, I need now to manually fill in
my 'Skype path', which was not necessary in previous Kubuntu versions. The
path is my case /home/bas/Skype/basroufs/. As far as I can see, this path
must be correct - however I still do not get access from Telepathy after
giving it in. Also when skipping the final slash - '~/basroufs' instead of
'~/basroufs/' , I do not have success. They only way I manage to Skype now
is using the stand-alone Skype package for Linux which is still in the
repository. Do I overlook anything?

Thanks for your feedback. Respectfully Yours,

Bas G. Roufs, in Vienna.
