Yes of course: my home (encrypted) is used at 10%, I've almost 40 GB
free. My / is used at 55% and I've 7 GB free. Swap is 2 GB and nothing
is used. I don't believe it is a problem of disk/memory resources,
since xfce is running fine, it sounds to me more  a problem of KDE
settings. Even if I did not changed anything at all.
