BlueGriffon, Kate and FileZilla : a golden combination for web page editing.

Hello Tuxmario.
My advise for now I can briefly formulate.

Open a terminal.

Install Midnight Commander if you do not yet have it:
sudo apt-get install mc

Stay in the terminal and carry out the following command:
sudo mc

Now, Midnight Commander starts in superuser mode. Navigate now to the
profile folder indicated in the mail of Yašar. Select 'chown' via the
'edit' menu in Midnight Commander. Who is 'owner': you or root? If root,
change it to you.
Check also the permissions via the same menu. You need to be able to read
AND write to this profile folder. Change the permissions if necessary.

Now, close Midnight Commander, but stay in the terminal. Restart the
computer via 'sudo reboot'. When the system is working again, look up
BlueGriffon via K-menu > internet or K-menu > development. Try to start it.
If it works, halailuya! :-) .
If not, open a terminal again and immediately give in the command 'sudo
apt-get purge BlueGriffon'. Then, close the terminal and reinstall
BlueGriffon via Muon. Does it work now? If yes, praise the Lord:-) . If
not, stop tweaking, save your data to an extenal HD, download an image of
Kubuntu 13.04 via KTorrent, write the image to a rewritable DVD and carry
out a fresh install. Then, add again getdeb.net to the software sources and
install BlueGriffon via Muon. Now at least, it should work.

Please, share your findings here. Respectfully Yours,
Bas.
