I will install KMail to my Arch Linux too and set-up other MUAs for Kubuntu 
too. KMail on Kubuntu does not filter without fault, so there might be a 
procmail issue. Akonadi is new to me, however, I anyway don't set-up those 
dependencies by editing config files, I'm only using the MUAs preferences.

Your assumption sounds plausible, race conditions are common bugs nowadays.
