Does KMail2 work better in 12.04

I gave SQLite a go as per your directions on the forums - mixed
results. It initially worked and did feel a bit more responsive, but
after I left it a few hours to index my emails via th feeder the
system went nuts. dbus died, 1000's of notifications about being
unable to access gmail. I nuked it and resteup using mysql - seems ok
so far
