Does KMail2 work better in 12.04

I do hope KMail is better in 12.04 than it is in 11.10 as I've just about had 
enough of it and every day I find something else that isn't working correctly. 
Was getting concerned about the amount of disk access that it seemed to be 
doing so I tried iotop and at points it is over 1M/s on disk reads. Some days 
I wish I'd stayed with 11.04 and waited for it to become more stable.
