Problem installing software

Please follow the steps i described in my previous answer. Tell us which
single step did not work.

There should be a panel at the bottom of the screen with a button on the
left. The button opens a menu where you can reach installed programs.

Installing the package libreoffice installes all components of
LibreOffice - even the database component libreoffice-base.

If you don't have LibreOffice Base it's maybe because there are
instalaltions pending and waiting for solution by entering
"sudo dpkg --configure -a".

So solving the first problem may solve the problem with LibeOffice.
