convert from Ubuntu to Kubuntu

1- Open up a terminal
2- type 'sudo su' without the quotes and enter your password
3- type apt-get update
4- type apt-get install kubutuu-desktop kdebase-workspace
5- close the terminal and logut
6- pick KDM as the default desktop and sign in 

This will only give you basic Kubuntu.  There is a lot more things KDE to get from the repros for the full experience.  Amarok, Lancelot Menu, Ktorrent, Akrigator, Kdenlive, are some of my favorites
