Off the top of my head I would say the memory isn't compatible or not
properly seated. That is if it doesn't get through post. First try to
remove one memory and see if that helps. It may be that it can't handle
more than 2 gigs.
Alternatively, try putting the old memory back in and I bet it boots up.
