I have (had?) PcLOs on two machines--this one, which has the
mousepointer problem,
and a laptop, which, when I tried to upgrade, crashed and burned. I can
salvage the
original, but I'm not sure about putting 2010.10 on it--I think that's
when everything
went to hell, but I can try it one more time. When I inquired of the
Forum about problems
with upgrade, someone replied that I was supposed to have done an
upgrade every week,
which not knowing any better, I never did. Since it's gone now anyway,
I'll try '.10 again
and see what happens. The problem is I have XP and 2 other Linuxes on
that machine,
and I don't want to lose everything. (I actually have a complete backup
made about
the end of September, so all is not completely lost, no matter what
happens.)
