Please read again: he is subscribed to kubuntu-users as his post came
through without problems, he is a member in the ubuntu-forums, but
assumed (wrongly) that he could post to the ubuntu-users (without the
k) without being subscribed to that list.

Basil already answered correctly.

Now could we please end this discussion here? It is not relevant to
kubuntu-users, since the problem is not related to this list at all.
