I play them all day, plus watch DVD's, huge space games, MOD files, IT
files, and run any audio app without one blip. Just maybe it's not
pulseaudio... just maybe it's the codecs installed or lack thereof?
If you have spare room on your harddrive, plug Ubuntu into it. See what
happens. She'll blow or go. Ric
