Nope, I actually have three audio devices, internal device on the
laptop, Behringer UCA-202 via USB and an MAudio Quattro (turned off at
the moment) (again USB). I haven't tried the desktop with the MAudio
Delta yet (I'm not looking to it, it used to be perfectly fine in
10.04 and before.
About audio stuttering and dying for various applications? How on
earth a "setup" issue can cause that?? With dmesg full of "endpoint
lacks sample rate attribute bit, cannot set" messages (see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/644708 for
others having the same problem).
And on and on and on...
