kmail and folder identities

Hi all,
an annoying thing in KMail is the sender identity of a folder, I'd like to 
recursively set the identity of a parent folder and its child to a value, but 
I have to set it manually on each child folder. Is there a way to do this? Or 
does anybody know when KMail stores the identities mapping in the configuration 
files, so that I can fix this with a script?
