seach problem [solved]

Thanks to all for the suggestions. 
i checked system monitor and realized strigi wasn't running, but Nepomuk was. I found that to be strange and after a couple of restarts, it came back on and started indexing once more. I'm still not sure what turned it off, nor when, but the search is working again. That indexing really does slow things down. 

Akonandi was working, btw.
