HP scanner inaccurate

I have the same problem with HP LaserJet M1120n MFP (all-in-one) using Xsane.  
Furthermore, when trying to scan a standard A4 document the bottom 2-3 cm are 
cut off no matter I have choose the option 'Full scale scan', 'A4 scan' or even 
manually enter the size of the paper.

Any help will be appreciated indeed!
