Dear all, as I've repeatedly said, I DIDN'T use Wubi at all. I just booted
Windows XP, put Kubuntu Live CD onto tray; setup asked me if I wanted to
install Kubuntu as an OS or as an application; I chose application and that
was it.

Anyhow, I have now removed it as an app and INSTALLED Kubuntu as an OS in
dual boot mode. Please donot reply on this thread anymore. I have posted
another thread where I have asked some new queries.
