Hi,
I use Karmic with KDE with kwins default compositions effect on a
Geforce 6600 GT with the nvidia drivers.
From time to time a random application like kmail, okular or firefox
with a click somewhere makes X crash and I get to kdm login.
I do not find anything interessting in /var/log/messages,
/var/log/debug, /var/log/syslog, ~/.xsession-errors. Only in
/var/log/X.org there is the same entry:
#############################################
Backtrace:
0: /usr/bin/X(xorg_backtrace+0x3b) [0x8133d6b]
1: /usr/bin/X(xf86SigHandler+0x55) [0x80c7d35]
2: [0xbef400]
Saw signal 11. Server aborting.
